about

The music here recorded is totally played without electronic devices, cut and overdubs. The session was recorded in the morning of a wednesday, with a digital field recorder.

The technical highlights on the disc as the recording was made during an afternoon, with a digital field recorder, and without the aid of any electronic device. Observation particularly appropriate because from the first notes of the soundscape Tale of Pigling Bland From the looks populated by electronic unidentified objects, which roam undisturbed through the sound space. But are nothing but vibrations of cash and strings of the cello by Francesco Guerri, nebulae spills from Edward Marraffa saxophones, cascades of crystal Guazzaloca erupted from the piano, impossible frequencies emitted by the vocal chords of MaryClare Brytwa. The landscape that is created is something surreal, indefinitely, at times disturbing, the musicians show great knowledge about the tools and ability to react / interact with the stimuli that produce self in real time. But, after listening, you can not dodge a vexed ques decisive. It makes sense to fix a disk radical improvisational performance so tied to real time, instant execution, the visual, bodily gestures of the protagonists and their interaction with the public? Question to be answered, but it's hard disk is no doubt that the music presented by the four musicians lose a lot of its explosive power and, perhaps, its very raison d'etre.
